DJ Briffeiro

DJ Briffeiro (Omar Sulaidine) is one of the most consistent and respected names in Mozambique’s electronic music scene, with over 18 years of experience as a DJ and music producer.

His artistic identity is rooted in the fusion of House, Deep House, and Afro Tech, crafting immersive sonic experiences that balance rhythm, emotion, and sophistication. Known for his sharp crowd-reading ability, Briffeiro delivers dynamic and versatile sets, seamlessly adapting to both large-scale festivals and more intimate, high-end venues.

His talent has been recognized with the Best Northern Region DJ Award at the Triple Vision Awards (2016 and 2017), solidifying his position within the national scene.

Over the years, Briffeiro has taken his sound beyond borders, performing in countries such as South Africa, Portugal, and Mozambique, with appearances at notable festivals and platforms including:

• H2O Festival (South Africa) 

• Sunrise Festival and Alive Festival (Mozambique) 

• We Love Summer and Grooveland (as a Headlining DJ)

In the club circuit, he has established himself in renowned venues such as Mood (resident DJ in Nampula), South Beach Moz, Opium Maputo, Altitude Johannesburg, Urban Club lisbon and Zsa Zsa Cape Town.
