Radjha Ally is a Mozambican singer and performer whose artistry is a vibrant celebration of the diverse sounds and traditional rhythms of Northern Mozambique. Born Raja Chabane Ali in Muecate, Nampula, his journey is uniquely marked by a synthesis of artistic passion and structured discipline.
His formative training began unexpectedly within the Mozambican Armed Forces, where he completed specialized studies in singing and dance at the Military Music School after his national service. This foundation was later expanded through formal education, earning a degree in Music from the Instituto Canzion and further academic pursuits in Theology and Music at Eduardo Mondlane University.
Radjha Ally's compelling stage presence has earned him national and international recognition. He was the winner of the Vozes que Encantam competition on the Moçambique em Concerto program in 2020. His career highlights include representing Mozambique at major cultural events such as Expo Dubai 2021, the IOMMA Festival in Réunion Island, and the Standard Bank Luju Festival in Eswatini.
Based in Maputo, Radjha Ally is currently preparing for the release of his debut album, set for February 2025 under the French label Le 360 Music Factory, promising a fresh and authentic contribution to world music.
