Double Drop

Double Drop soon became interested in music. In 2006, he began his adventure in the world of production in styles such as HipHop and R & B.

Mozambican Artist Double Drop brings a new creative lymph, riding on the

evolution of the times but always tied to his roots.

 

With the aim of de-personifying art, its music has no face, mentioned in magazines such as Mixmag and DJMag, this project has taken Mozambican culture to places that were unbelievable in the past. Using its platform to introduce new names to the electronic scene in Mozambique, Double Drop always seeks to learn and teach new ones and vice versa. 

 

His art demonstrates his versatility in the executionof his work, always trying to express all kinds of emotions of the listeners.

 

Sign with major labels like Sondela, MoBlack, Go Deeva. With the talent of

young producers to flourish in Mozambique, he decided to create his label Xibalo,focus on afro and organic contest.

 

Double Drop had the honour of sharing the stage with Black Coffee twice in 2023. 2024, he headlined with Da Capo and Daliwonga at the MTN Bushfire Festivalon the Ballantine's Stage Firefly, and he performed in Germany, Mauritius and Italy.

 

These experiences have not only shaped his musical journey but also instilled a

deep appreciation for connecting with diverse audiences.
